Profile

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and worked in audiovisual production in Caracas before pursuing a Master of Arts in Media Studies at The New School in New York. In the Latin American and Iberian Cultures program at Columbia, my research focuses on configurations and images of the common(s) in contemporary Venezuela. I am also interested in critiques of violence in Latin America and in the circulation of precarious images and the aesthetics of precariousness in the Global South.
