Profile

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Universidad Monteávila in Caracas, and a Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School in New York. My research focuses on configurations and images of the common/communal in contemporary Venezuela. I am also interested in critiques of violence in Latin America and in the circulation of precarious images and the aesthetics of precariousness in the Global South.

I collaborate in the project Migration Mapping/M2LAB based in The New School.
