SINGLADURAS | Submissions Guidelines

Submissions guidelines

All articles should be in English, Spanish, or Portuguese, and relevant to the theme of the issue for which the piece is submitted. Contributions should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words and forwarded via email attachment, as a Microsoft Word or plain-text document. Each submission should include a 250-word abstract and follow the MLA Style guidelines as well as the Singladuras Style Sheet. Every article submitted will be peer reviewed prior to publication. Authors will retain copyright of their original contributions and are free to publish them elsewhere.

As Singladuras is a graduate research journal, the editorial board seeks submissions either from graduate students who are currently enrolled in M.A. or Ph.D. programs or from early-career researchers within three years of degree conferral. The editorial board also welcomes articles from graduate students at LAIC, whose submissions will be reviewed by an external editor.
