Chenhuan Wang

Chenhuan Wang

Chenhuan is a MA student in Hispanic Cultural Studies at Columbia University. She holds a BA with honors in Spanish Language and Literature from Peking University, with a dual degree in Economics. 

Her research interests focus on literature and food cultural studies, examining interactions between textual form and gastronomic contexts in Latin American narratives and essays. Her undergraduate thesis, “Artifice and Nature, Battlegrounds and Weddings: New World Baroque in Fernando del Paso’s La cocina mexicana”, was awarded Distinguished Thesis by the School of Foreign Languages at PKU and presented at multiple conferences.
