Join us for the presentation of Pakal El Grande by Laura Filloy Nadal, published by the Fondo de Cultura Económica. Through the history of the magnificent artifacts associated with the Mayan ruler Pakal, the book sophisticatedly and creatively weaves together a broad spectrum of issues linking art and politics, spanning from pre-Hispanic times to the 21st century. The author will be in conversation with Alfonso Correa Cabrera and LAIC Professor Alessandra Russo at Macaulay College.
